Indian Snacks - Frozen Shami Kebabs Shammi Kababs


The rich, yet nutty taste of Bengal gram is blended with soyabean granules to make the batter for these delicious cutlets. Garlic and Onion add their distinctive flavours and a lovely smooth texture. A traditional recipe has been followed for the selection and combination of the typical Indian herbs and spices used here. Shami Kebabs came to India from Central Asia, redolent with the romance and artistry of an ancient land. The kitchens of the Mughal emperors refined these succulent morsels, infusing them with the spices and herbs that India is famous for. The result is here for you to savour. 

Serve these vegetarian kebabs with drinks, as side dishes in a meal or simply by themselves.

Warning Cooking Instructions

Ice crystals on frozen food can cause spattering when added to hot oil. Add product carefully.

For best result cook straight from frozen. Replace unused product in the freezer immediately.

Deep Fry Oven Bake

Fry frozen veg. Shami Kebab in hot oil at 350 f (180 c) for 2 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Remove and serve hot.

Preheat oven to 425 f (250 c). arrange frozen Shami Kebab in a single layer in tray and bake for 10 minutes or until golden crispy. Remove and serve hot. 

Microwave Oven Serving Suggestions

Thaw the product to room temperature. Pierce film cover on tray several time. Heat tray on high setting for 45 seconds. Remove film cover and. Serve hot. Above timing may need adjustment depending on microwave oven wattage
